The date for the house blessing for our latest Habitat House has been set for Thursday, April 13th at 5:30 p.m. The address is 4100 N Prospect just south of downtown Peoria Heights. Kenya Beck and her son are excited to move in. Please join us if you are able to congratulate Kenya on her new home. There will be a short ceremony and cookies! Come on over to tour the house if you are interested. The build turned out really great and I am proud of the part we played in getting it done.
Thanks to all your support and flexibility for the build. We overcame many challenges with weather, but we persevered. It really is a nice looking house, so stop on over on the 13th if you can.
If you come, please be aware that there is limited parking on-site. I would recommend you park a block east near the corner of Ashton and Hazard and walk the half block from there. It’s not far.
